Ivan is a Canadian citizen for years and has been a resident of Surrey for the last 19 years. He is a Civil Engineer by profession and has successfully constructed  large infrastructural projects in BC. Before taking retirement at the end of 2018, Ivan was Vice President (Operations) of Lafarge Construction Materials in British Columbia.

Ivan is more formally known from his activity being associated with and the leader of the KEEP RCMP IN SURREY CAMPAIGN(2018 to 2023).
