The Dudes Coffee House

Nestled away on the outskirts of sleepy Crescent Beach in Surrey,Dudes Coffee Houseused to be a closely guarded secret – but no longer.

Snug and cozy, the interior conjures up the feeling of home, and the welcoming family of Larry and Kelly who own it add to the ambiance.

So what about Dudes coffee? Their dark roast has a low acidity which is great for people like me who love the taste of coffee. I go in regularly and have a large cup with no ill effects and it is a very pleasant additionto the day.

The limited menu includes Eggs Benny and man – o – man, is the homemade Hollandaise sauce ever something else. For someone who likes protein in the mornings, the Prime Ribs Eggs Benny beats any other steak and eggs dish that’s ever crossed my plate. Dudes Pancakes are topped with homemade whipped cream,or with organic maple syrup.

I whole-heartedly recommend this family-run, community-involved hidden gem. Support local and let The Dudes show you some South Surrey hospitality. So be sure to check it out, you won’t be sorry!
And if you mention my name – Ivan Scott, Larry will be sure to knock 10% off the bill.Dude’s is situated at the corner of 128th Street and Crescent Road, South Surrey and is open Tuesdays to Sundays 10am to 5pm.
